Here is an estimate of how much your group will make depending on the quanity of fruit you sell.

 

Fruit Fundraising Profit:

 

If you sell 2,000 - 20 pound boxes of fruit, the approximate profit for your group will be $20,000.00. (10.00 per box)

 

If you sell 1,000 or more - 20 pound boxes of fruit, the profit for your group will be at least $9,000.00. (9.00 per box)

 

If you sell 500 or more 20 pound boxes of fruit, the profit to your group will be at least $4,000.00. (8.00 per box)

 

If you sell 300 or more 20 pound boxes of fruit, the profit for your group will be at least $2,100.00. (7.00 per box)

 

If you sell 200 or more 20 pound boxes of fruit, the profit for your group will be at least $1,200.00. (6.00 per box)

 

If you sell 100 or more 20 pound boxes of fruit, the profit for your group will be at least $500.00. (5.00 per box)

 

Grocery stores sell navel oranges, grapefruit and apples at prices of .99 per pound to $1.99 per pound.  The prices we are recommending are approximately .99 to 1.25 per pound to your customers in the 20-pound box and approximately .89 to .99 per pound in the 40-pound box. Your fruit prices will be competitive.
